Now it’s my turn to plan the next outing. xD

Sooo, after pushing back his great plans for 2 days because of bad weather and me being really tired the day after because mom, sis and I shopped (and walked!) for 6 hrs due to bad weather (lawl lawl). Therefore I conclude……….the main cause of the pushback was due to BAD WEATHER. Anyway, it was great we went on Monday, because the weather turned out to be the best! A lil cloudy, but still sunny, and pretty windy….and most importantly, no rain! ZOMG! The last time I visited our local Zoo was when I was in primary school! The place has since received a 180 degree change. It’s become much more organized, very welcoming, and extremely accessible to and within the Zoo itself. And of course everything is newer…new restaurants, new everything, and everything u look at is money money money. Yes, the price of everything is like twice the normal prices outside it’s mad.

first day

The first day at work. In movies or television shows I will always laugh at the nervous individual messing everything up and looking like the blurest fool on the planet. I was that fool today.

To start it off….

I “CONVENIENTLY” forgot to bring my wallet out. Like seriously. I never forget to bring my wallet out, I mean that’s the most important thing in anyone’s bag or pocket. How can you forget to bring the thing that contains your most important documents and of course MONEY in it?? But… I FORGOT to bring it out, on my first day of work. Lol. People will never forget to bring their wallets out on their very first day of work. I am probably the minority of the minority of the unlucky fools who forgot to bring their wallet on their first day of work. So, that made me 10 mins late. BUT……I was still the earliest to arrive at the office so nobody knew, so technically nobody knew I was late on my first day of work hehe.

Well, but it wasn’t too bad. Just that I’m like supposed to temp for this girl who delegated all her tasks to me in one day because it was her last day of work today. I could barely understand 50% of the things she said and I’m supposed to pass over her duties to the new person who’s replacing her, who unforturnately will probably only get 25% of the message passed from the original girl. It’s like playing a game of broken telephone where a person who speaks only french passes a message to a person who only understands chinese, who then has to pass the message to the next person. Lol what do u think the 3rd person is going to understand from the original message?

But I’m really happy with the working environment, the people, and of course my pay. However, it’s only been one day. We’ll see if I’m still all rosy and gleeful with joy by the end of this week.

getaway!

I never had issues about periods. They come and go, and occasionally just hurt a little that you prefer sitting down most of the time, but not painful enough to leave you stranded in bed. But this month’s was terrible! I was stranded in bed for 2 whole days that I couldn’t even get up to get my 3 meals or a sip of water. I just laid in bed and slept from morning till night, night till morning. Only managed to get up today to post on wordpress. But at least the cramps have just returned to the normal pain levels.

So, the chalet was awesome, but super tiring. I crashed the moment I got home for a day. LOL. I only got about uploading the photos just now and here they are.

Yes folks it’s the standard size mahjong table and it drove mumu and I mad just to lug the damn thing from my place all the way to the Pasir Ris Chalets hahaha. But it was all worth it!

Night Cycling! From chalet to Changi Village for the famous Nasi Lemak, then cycled for damn far to dunno where to see planes land, then got lost till crotch so eff-ing pain. But made it back…8 hrs of crotch torture though. Thank goodness for GPS on iPhone..while the battery lasts.

I think the bulk of my sweat came from all the jump shots we took till we got the perfect one…
